iOS 26.5: Xfinity Mobile 'Spam' call filtering not silencing calls / not sending to voicemail
I'm having an issue with the Spam call filtering feature on my iPhone (iOS 26.5) with Xfinity Mobile. Under Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Filtering, I have the "Spam" toggle turned on, and Unknown Callers is off. According to the description right there in Settings, calls identified as spam or fraud by Xfinity Mobile should be silenced, sent straight to voicemail, and moved to the Spam list. But that's not happening — spam-flagged calls are ringing through like normal, with no silencing at all.
From what I've found searching around, this seems to line up with a known bug affecting call blocking/filtering more broadly on iOS 26 — it's been reported on Apple's developer forums as an issue with calls not being silenced or blocked properly since the iOS 26 beta, so it may not be something specific to Xfinity's system, but rather an iOS bug affecting how carrier spam identification gets applied. Still, wanted to flag it here in case others are seeing the same thing, or in case there's something on the Xfinity side that could help work around it in the meantime. Has anyone else run into this on iOS 26?

@user_1yzay3 I have the same issue. And have had it with other cell providers as well. As you mentioned, an Apple issue it seems. After some Googling however, I found that the feature may need a security app from the cell phone provider to function properly. Xfinity Mobile does not have one. But Verizon does. Xfinity Mobile is a Verizon MVNO. I would try the Verizon call filter app to see if that works.
