@user_z4boxx  I would check this document to confirm that you are connecting properly to Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet

Howdy user_z4boxx

If you’re using an iOS device to download the WiFi Hotspots profile in the Xfinity app, you may experience an error if the Xfinity WiFi Hotspots app is installed on your device.

To resolve this error, please delete the Xfinity WiFi Hotspots app from your device.

Android user denied the Xfinity app permission to install the WiFi Hotspots profile

When installing the WiFi Hotspots profile in the Xfinity app, you must grant permission for installation on your device, when prompted. Choosing Don’t Allow will result in an error.

To resolve this error, you must grant permission for the Xfinity app to install the WiFi Hotspots profile:

  1. Access your Android device’s Settings.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. From the Apps screen, choose the three dots in the upper-right corner.
  4. Select Special access.
  5. Select Wi-Fi control.
  6. Scroll to locate, then select Xfinity. You’ll see Not Allowed indicated.
  7. Slide the toggle to allow the app to control WiFi.
  8. Return to the Xfinity app to complete download the WiFi Hotspots profile.

Can't access Secure Auto-Connect on an Xfinity Mobile device

If you’re an Xfinity Mobile customer, you don’t need to use the Secure Auto-Connect for Xfinity WiFi hotspots feature in the Xfinity app. This functionality is already built into the operating system for all Xfinity Mobile devices. It’s not supported in the Xfinity app on Xfinity Mobile devices.
