Horrible coverage at home

I want to stay with Xfinity as I’ve been with them since the start but I’m getting so fed up with having no coverage at home. This is what the field test screen shows from outside my home.  Absolute trash.

Has anyone been able to get a network extender?

Howdy jersey_weeds

How large is the home? Typically, the Wi-Fi range is solid, are you running these tests outside the service property?

@XfinityTommy 4,000 square foot and these tests are on the tower side out back on my deck. Probably the best I could possibly do.

Are there a lot of trees between your home and the service tower?

@XfinityBradM yes there is a good amount of foliage in the spring and summer but the problem exists year round.

If it is possible, removing obstacles between you and the service tower is going to be your best bet when it comes to improving service quality for the mobile service. Are you able to connect with the device using your WiFi network? You can have your guests connect to the xfinitywifi hotspot to keep your devices safe and avoid guest connecting to your home network. If you do not use one of our Xfinity Wireless Gateways we would recommend setting up a separate guest network.

@XfinityBradM VOIP calls using wifi calling through xfinity are pretty poor.  I disable my cell connection and get a lot of static, cutouts, and background noise.  As far as removing obstacles I do not own the treeline and that would honestly take one of those helicopters with the gigantic chainsaws.

Do in home cellular repeaters/boosters exist for Xfinity Mobile (or can a Verizon one be used)?
