Apple Watch Does Not Receive Calls nor Texts

It turns out, and for good reasons, I do not have an iPhone for a few days and got an Apple watch precisely for these moments.

Yet, using the watch I can call out, and send messages (when they don't fail send) but I can not receive calls nor texts.

For two days I tried getting in touch with a live support agent to help. Crickets.

About to move to Verizon if this is not resolved today.

SMS sending: undelivered/not sending on first attempt

SMS receiving: simply not receiving

Calling out ok

No incoming calls. rings busy to the incoming caller
