ANSWERED: How to Link, Unlink, and Switch Between Multiple Xfinity Accounts

Need to link, unlink or switch between your accounts? You can use your Xfinity ID to manage multiple accounts through xfinity.com online.

Linking enables you to use one Xfinity ID to manage multiple Xfinity accounts/addresses.

Link accounts

LINK YOUR XFINITY ID TO AN ACCOUNT

You can link your Xfinity ID to an account by accepting an invitation from the account’s Primary user to join it. If you’re the Primary user, see how to manage user roles and permissions on Xfinity accounts for details.

You’ll receive the invitation by email, text message, or both.

  • If the personal email address or mobile number is the same one used on your Xfinity ID, you’ll be prompted with the option to link your accounts, or continue with creating a new profile.
  • If the personal email address or mobile number is different from the one used on your Xfinity ID, you can still sign in with your password to link accounts.

Note: If you don't want to link your accounts, choose Create a New Profile instead to create a separate Xfinity ID for your new account.

  1. Click the Get Started button in the email or text message invitation you received.
Screenshot of the account page. The account logo is in the upper left corner. The Get started button is purple and towards the bottom of the screen.

  2. You may be asked to confirm some details about the account you’re linking to, like the street address, mobile phone number, or email address on the account. Once finished, click Continue.
Screenshot of the Xfinity welcome page. There is a field towards the bottom with the street address. The Continue button is blue and at the very bottom.

    • As you type in your street address, the field will auto-populate.
    • Find your address from the list of options provided.

  3. Click the Use Existing Profile button and sign in with your existing Xfinity ID to link your accounts.
Screenshot of the welcome page with a greeting across the top. A blue button to confirm use of this existing profile is towards the bottom. An option to create a new profile instead is hyperlinked beneath the button.

  4. You’ll then be taken to a confirmation screen that'll ask you to choose which account you’d like to access.
  5. Click the circle next to your desired service address, then click Continue to be signed into that account.
The select the account you want to access page is displayed with a blue Continue button at the bottom.

    • Tip: If you’d like to set a preferred account to view every time, check the box next to Remember this selection next time I sign in before clicking Continue.
