Xfinity infrastructure too weak to increase upload speed?

With it being 2025 now I am starting to believe  that Xfinity can provide strong download speeds beyond 1000mb/s..  however is it true that the Xfinity infrastructure is too weak to handle more than 40mb/s upload speed as an industry standard for their customers?

Anyone else agree? Are they planning to increase  this anytime in 2025.

brkfrnr03 Thank you for taking the time to reach to us here on our Xfinity Forums. We have been diligently working to upgrade our infrastructure to support the Next Gen speeds, which do include faster upload speeds with a compatible modem. I would love to take a look at your account and see if you are eligible for those faster speeds. Please send us a DM to Xfintiy Support with your full name and address to get started.

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
