How to enable Fibre connection with my 1100mbps plan

I just signed up for the 1100mbps plan. Rep told me it's a Fibre connection since I only have ATT Fibre connection at my house. So I switched from ATT FIbre. Now I just received a modem from Xfinity with Coaxial cable connection. What is the solution or do I just cancel the service all together?
