Getting Internet for a relative

My dad and one of my uncles have been pushing for my grandmother to get internet, something she isn't interested in getting. More recently, On Demand has stopped working without an internet connection. This has limited her to live cable and DVDs. She has gotten on in years, so we make regular visits. I have two main questions.

The first is, how much would it be a month for internet at a second location? She only lives in the next town.

The second is, would it work to have the cable and internet on separate accounts? She is already a Comcast customer.
