*CAT-iq 2.0: Cordless Advanced Technology (CAT). CAT-iq 2.0 is a digital communication standard, used primarily for cordless phone systems. CAT-iq 2.0 handsets can be paired with the wireless gateway.
Using third-party equipment
Alternatively, some Xfinity customers may wish to purchase and use third-party cable modems and gateways. However, you will miss out on the full suite of Xfinity services.
