Delete rules in the Xfinity Home app (Answered)

Delete a rule

Careful! Once you delete a rule, it's gone. If you want it back, you'll need to recreate it.

1. Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
2. On the Overview screen, tap the Automation icon (arrow over two dots).
3. On the Automation screen, there are two ways you can delete a rule.
   • Swipe left on a rule to show on/off and delete options for the rule, and tap Delete.
     
     
     
     
   • Tap the rule to see its settings, and tap the blue trash can icon in the top-right corner of the Customize screen.
4. In the confirmation box, tap Delete to permanently delete the rule, or tap Cancel to keep the rule.
