***Updated 8/19/2026***
If your touchscreen is frozen, you can restart it by removing the power and battery. Most often, this fixes the issue.
What you'll need
- Xfinity Home touchscreen.
- Phillips-head screwdriver (for some models).
Restart TCHT2AA0 Touchscreen

- Remove the stand.
- Take out the battery.
- Unplug the power cord.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Put the battery back in and plug in the power cord.

The touchscreen will restart.
Restart TCA300 Touchscreen

- Remove the back cover.

- Take out the battery and unplug the power cord.

- Wait 10 seconds.
- Put the battery back in and plug the power cord back in.
The touchscreen will restart.
Restart TCA200 or TCA203 Touchscreen — Contact us to swap

Important: TCA200 and TCA203 touchscreens are no longer supported and have reached end of life. You cannot fix most issues by restarting these devices. They need to be replaced. Contact us to replace your touchscreen.
