If you have a single home phone line from Xfinity, you would need to plug your phone in to phone port number 1. Most of our newer modems will have the two phone ports on top, with a little diamond shape in the middle, and four Ethernet ports underneath, with a little triangle shape in the middle. Please let me know if you are still experiencing issues, and we would be more than happy to take a closer look.
