VOIP phone "Your call could not be completed as dialed."
We're moving our old landline to Xfinity VOIP; after 1 hour with tech support we finally got a dial tone and were able to phone out OK. People we called see our proper phone number, however despite 2 more hours with tech, everyone who phones us gets the "Your call could not be completed as dialed." message.
All we can get from tech support is to request a tech come to the house - and that could accomplish nothing, as it's clear it has nothing to do with our hardware - the problem is that Comcast didn't register our phone properly.
Just whom at Xfinity can actually put our phone number into the proper database so other people can phone our number?

Now fixed. Tech support (all in India?) said they could not dialing our number to verify the problem, even when we phoned Business Comcast using our the call-out-only VOIP and were transferred to India. We were told multiple times to schedule a tech to come to the house, but eventually the third agent understood that the problem was that the provisioning of our VOIP had been done incorrectly and a trouble ticket (CR#) was generated for "Advanced Technical Support". After about day we could suddenly receive phone calls.
I put in about 15 hours of my time getting VOIP up on our Xfinity cable system that we've had for almost 14 years; it really shouldn't be this hard!

Good evening user_knr8i2 I can certainly understand your frustration if you had not been able to use the landline. I just want to confirm is everything working as it should be now?
