Voice Auto-Forwarding with No Landline Phones or Voice Modem

We have Xfinity Voice as part of a TV/Internet/Voice package. For convenience, we currently auto-forward all incoming calls to our mobile phone. We now need to upgrade our modem for increased internet speed. I would like to keep our landline Voice number active but would prefer installing an internet only modem and remove our physical landline phones.  If we are willing to give up our landline phones and get a new modem without voice capability, will our Voice number remain active and will calls still be forwarded to our mobile number?

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

I have the same question.  What did you find out?

@asilenak I punted and went with Plan B. I bought an internet/voice modem - Arris T25 - and made the question moot. The T25 was only $10 more than the comparable modem without voice at Best Buy.  I'm hanging onto our landline number for now with the option to cancel the landline outright at some point in the future.  I have all landline calls auto-forwarded to our mobile line.  That landline number is baked into a lot of old accounts and contacts (we've had that number for almost 50 years!), so I hesitated to simply get rid of it fearing intended consequences.
