Tel 1 and Tel 2 intermittently lighting up when I only have one phone line
While I only have ONE phone line, usually lit under Tel 1, I have noticed on 11/21/19 & 12/01/19 that the Tel 2 line is lit, which should not be when I only have ONE line. I have read a post where it said Comcast runs reports. I made a call & the person whom I spoke with told me this is the first time he has heard of this & claimed I will need a new Modem. I requested a call in the a.m. When I picked up phone to make this call, I noticed Tel 2 flashing & Tel 1 steady on. Again, usually only Tel 1 is lit & will flash when in use. Any concrete answers as to why this is occurring? Logically it seems like I have 2 phone lines when I only have one. IF Comcast runs reports why wouldn't those answering questions know this? Useful information please. Thank you.
