Switched modems in my telephone landline won’t work. Everything is connected properly. What’s going on Xfinity?

I switched the modem’s and my landline is not working. Everything is plugged in properly. What’s going on Xfinity? I was a problem.

Hello user_m7u9od! I'm sorry to read that your phone service is now working with the exchange of the modem. I have a feeling the issue has a quick fix, and we simply need to update the device in our system to activate the phone service to the new modem. I now how troublesome it can be to not have your home phone working, so I would love to help out and make sure this is corrected asap.
