Request for reaction of Disconnected phone number
My landline was disconnected on 8/26. I am trying to restore the ported number onto my existing gateway, but phone support is forcing me to accept new equipment shipments. Can a digital care agent help me restore the line on my current hardware?

I'm glad you dropped by our community for help, and you're in the right place for help with restoring your Xfinity Voice service 👍 As long as you're using an Xfinity modem that's compatible with the service, you should be able to use that with the Xfinity Voice service no problem. When attempting to get the voice line active again, did our support teams disclose why an Xfinity modem would be needed?
