removal of old equipment on exterior of house

Question

We moved to our new address in April. We do not have a land line any more. I would like to remove the equipment boxes on the side of our house. There are two older boxes and wires.

One box says Verizon on it.

Who can i contact to get help for old phone services?

No one really, Comcast doesn’t send techs out to remove wires attached to your house(they are considered yours) and they also wouldn’t touch another company’s box on your house.

im reaching out to everyone. Comcast is a phone provider in my town. I have had an account with them for years. The box says Verizon, so im calling them too. They are trying to connect me to Frontier, who i called already and they said they dont service in my state.

its a nightmare.

If you can do it and you don’t have that service, take it off and remove it, it’s your house
