Porting phone from estate

Am I able to transfer a landline number that is in my grandmother's estates name and through frontier to my xfinity voice account? I have inherited her house and would love to keep the landline number since it holds sentimental meaning. If so would I need a letter from the executors saying it was okay to port the number to me?

You can read more about the porting process and what is required here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/local-number-portability. I would keep the service active with Frontier and ask if they have a specific process on their end for the ownership change of the account.
