Phone is flasing I have a VM but when I connect no VM
My phone is flashing and message says Voice mail msg via phone company but when I access VM there is no messsage.
During a recent plan switch they attached someone elses number to my account which had a vm but I could not access. They removed the number but the flag in my account that alerts me to a VM is still set and customer support has not been able to help so far.
This happened once before and support merely reset a flag in the Db and the alert went away. I have tried rebooting my modem

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
