Not getting phone service...

I transferred over to Xfinity internet and home phone service almost 2 weeks ago and was able to self set up the Internet and voice remote boxes for 3 TVs with a little help. I was told after 5 business days that my home phone would port over to Xfinity and that once I got no dial tone on the line that I could move the phone to my Xfinity gateway and it would be all set. Today my home phone finally has no dial tone but a move over to the gateway produces no dial tone or sound at all. I have checked my account and it says that it is active and had been that way for the passed week. So my question is, is there something that I have to set up on my account with the security code that I received on the phone before the gateway connection works? Or is there something wrong on your end?
