No name on outgoing caller ID

I've spent a couple hours with several Xfinity customer service people and still the problem isn't resolved.    The name that was appearing on my outgoing calls was my spouse who is deceased.   I wanted the name changed to mine, the new account holder.   Xfinity customer service managed to delete the existing name, but did not replace it with my name.   Now, on outgoing calls, my number shows up with the words "valid call" and my city.   I have tried many many times to fix this myself on line, and end up going in a circle.
