I have an xfinity modem with voice! I have no dial tone on any phone! A phone line is plugged into the back of the mode. Is there a special box that line is plugged into?

I definitely know the importance of having your home phone up and running, so I am sorry to hear you have no dial tone. The phone line should be connected to the modem as you stated, but we can definitely further troubleshoot this so that we can get your voice service working again.
