No dial tone on either home phone

My Xfinity Modem which had worked perfectly for several years suddenly dropped dial tone and I took my Modem back to Xfinity and picked up a new Gateway Modem # XB8. Still no dial tone, plugged both phones directly into the modem and still no dial tone.  HELP

user_3za19z Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear the transition to the new Xfinity Gateway did not go as planned. Have you been able to rectify the issue since you posted this 2 days ago?
