No dial tone on either home phone

My Xfinity Modem which had worked perfectly for several years suddenly dropped dial tone and I took my Modem back to Xfinity and picked up a new Gateway Modem # XB8. Still no dial tone, plugged both phones directly into the modem and still no dial tone.  HELP

My problem with no home phones working (no dial tone) was solved with my modem being reconfigured and I had to replace one of my cordless phones.  All is good now, I gave the Xfinity Tech a 10 on my survey. The Xfinity online team also changed my internet plan and helped me save some money on my reoccurring bill.  Instant messaging is one of the best ways to contact Xfinity about problems with your service.
