Hello, @user_fg9e3e how are you? It sounds like we need to activate phone service on the new modem. Did you exchange an Xfinity modem or did you buy your own modem at a retail store? The reason why I ask is that if you have a new Xfinity leased modem it can take about 24 hours for your phone service to provision/activate. So, we would want to make sure your order is closed before troubleshooting. If you bought a new owned modem, then we definitely need to take steps to provision the new owned modem for Xfinity Voice service.
