Looking for help with backup battery modem for landline.

Hello I’m in my mid 70s. I have my landline through Comcast whom I’ve been with for 35 years.  When deciding if I should go with Comcast for landline I was told that it will shift to a battery backup if internet goes down. I found out the hard way that’s contingent on having a new battery in the modem.  I’m not tech savvy but do need a new battery backup in case internet goes down.  My modem is maybe 6 years old. I don’t really remember.  I cannot talk to a tech support human because Comcast makes that impossible.  I’d like to find someone here who can tell me how a senior on a fixed income can get a modem with a fresh battery backup.  Thank you.

Thank you for responding.  I will try to DM but not sure I can.  Honestly I’m so tired of trying to get help from Comcast but I’ll try one more time in hopes for a miracle of good assistance. I do feel saddened by the lack of phone assistance for seniors   I’m trying to stay with Comcast.  But they make it hard to do so

@XfinityBenjaminM  I replied in DM  as I was instructed to do. Four days later still no reply.  Comcast at least is consistant in their lack of tech support.  This was my last try to get tech support from Comcast.  Speaking with a human on the phone is impossible. Text chat usually isn’t successful. Finally community forum assistance was a waste of time.  This is how Comcast treats seniors (I’m 74) who were customers for 35 years.  I GIVE UP!
