Landline reinstated issues

This communication addresses the persistent and unresolved issue concerning the transfer of my previous landline number following my Xfinity service installation on October 11, 2025. Despite being assured that my original number would be reinstated upon release by my former carrier, and subsequently receiving a temporary number, the promised porting has not occurred. I have initiated nine separate calls to Xfinity support since installation, each met with an inability to activate my legacy number, while my previous carrier confirms the number's release and asserts that its activation is now Xfinity's responsibility. Furthermore, direct testing by both myself and Xfinity agents confirms that while calls to my old number successfully ring for the caller, they do not connect to my home service, underscoring a critical technical disconnect. Given its critical association with numerous personal accounts and vital medical files, the immediate reinstatement of my original landline number is imperative.
