Landline disconnects

Landline disconnects during active conversation when incoming call is received on the same line.  Landline also disconnects after 29 minutes of conversation

Mine does the same thing. I had to set a timer to be sure to say goodby and then redial every, single time and have read many people have this problem. Is it the phone or xfinith?

mine does the same thing and somewhere on this forum I found dozens of people with the same problem.  Will be looking into changing to another company, can't get a live person, disconnects, etc. etc. andd on and on. I tried about l0 times to get a PERSON and just get nothing and no live person. I GIVE UP

Please send me a direct message with your first and last name, along with your complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.   

 

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:  

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary 

 • Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon (upper right corner of this page) 

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 

 • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list 

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 

 • Press Enter to send your message 

I no longer work for Comcast.
