International Call Progress Tones
When I make international calls, for some reason, the United States call progress tones play upon initiating the call. For example, when I dialed the Geneva Cointrin International Airport back in February of 2023. However, when I'm on hold with the called party, the correct international tones play. Is there a way to fix it so that the international tones are heard when I first make the call to an international phone number, instead of the United States tones? If so, can this parameter be set on my modem?

Good Morning, @Annabelle2! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums! No, Xfinity Voice does not have a feature that allows you to change your ringtone specifically for international calls. The ringtone (or "ring back tone," the sound the caller hears) is generally determined by the phone system of the country you are calling from, or by the settings on your local Xfinity Voice modem, and cannot be changed on an international call-specific basis through Xfinity settings. We are always looking for ways to improve the customers experience, and will document the feedback. Please let us know if you have any other questions/concerns, we are happy to help.

You'd think that when you dial 011 plus a country code, the international ringback tone corresponding to that country code would be heard when the call is being put through.
