How can I disable voicemail on Xfinity voice

I need to disable my Xfinity voice voicemail. There doesn't appear to be a simple way to turn that service off.

The app and the website doesn't allow me to get to the voice mail settings (Sorry, call our tech support line). This may be a different problem altogether as a lot of folks here have complaint about that.

This is for the home phone.

I went ahead and called 1-800-XFINITY, punched through the "AI" wall and told the agent what I wanted. She submitted a ticket to disable the VM service just for the landline, indicating that it would take a few days to make it happen.

Right now I'm just waiting to see if the feature really gets turned off.

Hi there, @user_080836! Thanks for sharing where things are at in the process. The ticket should remove the voicemail from your home phone as promised. It can take up to 72 hours. Is the voicemail still working or has it stopped?
