House wiring for voice distribution
Given that I have telephone wiring in an existing house, will the xfinity gateway drive the wiring so that I can use a cordless phone at some location in the house, (not at the gateway, but remote from the gateway).

Hi, @user_h9qnz7, we would need to schedule an installation and have a technician take a closer look at your location. It is possible, but a tech would need to confirm. Sometimes a contractor would need to work on the phone lines before we install Xfinity Voice service using existing phone wiring and situations can vary.
