Home answering system not working after new comcast router installed

After new comcast router installed , callers hear “this call is being forwarded to [Edited: "Personal Information"]”. That is our one phone number. You can hear our answering system message in the background while that call forwarding message is speaking. Then, a dial tone happens and no message left on the answering machine.
