Get old xfinity land line phone number back! Its been 3 months of the runaround.

I started this new account in June because I was told we could get better pricing by cancelling our old account and starting as a new customer, but I was promised our landline phone number would transfer over. It has been 3 months and me talking to at least 5 representatives, spending hours on the phone, chat or in-store trying to get my phone number back. I even had it show up last month as processing and then went away again to a new phone number I do not want. The whole point of this was to keep the number. On top of that, I have had no dial tone on my phone number the whole time, so I'm paying every month for a service I'm not getting at all. Even yesterday I was told the issue was fixed after over an hour on chat and I still have seen no update in my account even to say a transfer is in progress. I want my old phone number back! This has been exhausting.

To help with the issue: The old account was completely shut down because I had been guaranteed the landline port actually finalized, leaving my original number probably stuck in a "disconnected/quarantine" status on that inactive profile. My new active account is currently stuck with a temporary placeholder number I do not want.
Because it has been 3 months, I need an Official Employee to escalate this specifically to the Tier 2 / Backend Voice Engineering Team to manually pull my original number out of quarantine and overwrite the placeholder number on my new active account. At this point I am worried I will lose the number forever if I don't get immediate help.
I have both account numbers ready for a Secure Private Message as soon as an employee responds here. Thank you!
