Comcast Issues from Hell
Lost service seven days ago. Call Xfinity. Tell me to take modem, and boxes into store to replace. They gave me a dvr that did not work and I gave them one that worked. Took it back again and they gave me a reconditioned on that was operable.
The issue was the drop amp from Commstock. I ordered from Amazon and replaced today. Had to configure everything. Now, the same issue that many customers have: no dial tone on voice. Call support > All they want to do is restart the modem. This issue has been ongoing with Comcast for years. They want to send a technician out. I connected the land phone right to the modem. Not a wiring issue. Step it up Comcast.
