Caller can hear me, but I can’t hear caller
For the past few months while on my landline, I randomly have times when the caller can hear me, but I can't hear them. It sometimes happens within the first few minutes of the call and other times after about 15 minutes. It happens with almost every call. I have gone through chat support and they do some testing and say there is no problem with the line. I bought a new phone and it is still happening, so I don't think it's my equipment. Does anyone else have this problem and what can be done to fix it.

Exact same thing is happening to my elderly parents. We will be talking and suddenly they can no longer hear me.
We have had comcast come out, check things, replaced the modem, replaced the phones, and it still happens.
There is obviously a problem and comcast needs to fix this!

We’ve had the same problem for over a year and it doesn’t matter who initiates the call or whether the other person is on a landline or cell phone. Randomly, the person on the other end of the conversation will stop being able to hear what our side is saying but we can always hear them. Sometimes if we keep the call going, they’ll be able to hear again but not always. Restarting the modem doesn’t help and Comcast says there’s nothing wrong though obviously that isn’t the case.
