After outage, no dial tones on home phones, no voice support
I have used xfinity assistant to have a person call me back yesterday morning and this morning. I go through all the same questions and a woman checks her end and tells me there is an outage in my area and Xfinity is working on a node. I do not believe what I am told. Everyone on my street has services. My internet and tv have been working since Sunday around 5 pm. My account says I have an internet outage and a phone outage. My internet is working fine. I have told them twice that level 2 needs to do something to turn my home phone back on. Can you help me?

My internet speed from comcast speed test is anywhere from 13 to 20 mbps instead of over 200 so maybe that is the problem.

Resolved by a service person who came to my house. He went to every tv and checked for interference. He moved my services to a new splitter in the basement last, which should have been done first, because the setup was very old possibly 30+yrs old and found a cable with a hole in it which could have been there since the house was built because it was behind a tall cabinet. The other thing we found was one phone with "line in use" on the screen and disconnected it. The only way I could get a service person to come to my house was to say over and over to the AI "cancel my services". Anything else she said there is a service outage in the area and hung up on me. My internet is much faster and doesn't go in and out so far. And my tv service has had no problems like pixelation or freezing so far.
