Xfinity voicemail

I have a home answering machine. I do not want to use Xfinity voicemail feature. How can I turn off the Xfinity voicemail so my calls will go to my landline answering machine?

Hello, @user_ccjjxj how are you? If you change the ring count to the maximum of nine until Voicemail picks up on your Xfinity service, your personal answering machine will pick up first. You can get more information on how to do this here.

I have read this reply in other inquiries, but like them, I too do not have a drop down menu for number of rings.

Thank you for letting us know that you also do not have a drop-down menu for number of rings. To confirm, are you not wanting to use the voicemail feature as well? What troubleshooting steps have you attempted?
