Xfinity caller id issue
How can I get some assistance for my caller id issue. I’ve put in several tickets and the tier 1 techs all do the same troubleshooting, without a different resolution, (reboot the modem, remotely check the TV and banner on a simulated call, make test calls, repeat) and then say my issue has been passed up to the Advanced Repair team. Nothing is fixed.
My issues are the following:
1. All Calls on my phone system come through on the caller id; “Unknown Name --- Private Number”.
2. There is no caller id notification on any of my tvs, even though all of the settings are correct.
I read on a forum that something related to my account needs to be rebuilt. I transferred my services from a rental home in March, and since then the above has not worked. I need help to get this resolved, can you assist?
