When I dial *99 from my home comcast phone, I get the message "this mailbox is currently unavailable". HELP

I can make and receive calls but I cannot get to the mailbox.    When I dial *99 from my home comcast phone, I get the message "this mailbox is currently unavailable".   HELP

Hi there, @user_187p39 I'm truly sorry for the trouble you are having with your mailbox, I know how important it is to have Voicemail. Since it's been a few days since you posted are you still having trouble with your VoiceMail?-Richard

Finally after 24 days calling support and trying web chat support and having 2 tech visits, someone from advanced tech support called me and fixed it and a couple other issues in 1/2 hour.    Your chat support and call-in support cost me many, many hours of wasted time this month and didn't fix anything.     Most of the time, the support folks had no idea what they were even talking about.     Fortunately, the final call I received from a woman techie fixed several things.
