voicemail not working

Recently, when I dial my voicemail on my home phone, I get a message stating that "the mailbox number you are trying to reach is not in service". How do I fix this?

I am getting the same exact message - and apparently it's been that way for some time.

 

None of the online resources have been remotely hepful.

Mine stopped working also. After 3 hours of farting around with Xfinity I was told that they could "activate" it for me for $9.99 month. It was working fine until end of May. I understood vm was included.

Xfinity is the WORST (yes, I mean to shout) non-service I have ever experienced and I’m from the UK.  Here Voicemail has taken over all my landline phone calls, then I get that mailbox message.  None of the so-called customer service people can help, nor have they.

Disgraceful, useless, pathetic non-help.
