Hello @user_e5e8c9, I hope the day has been treating you well! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to post here with us in the Xfinity Community Forum.

If you have Xfinity voicemail feature, dial *99 from your Xfinity home phone, when your voicemail picks up, press # and enter your Xfinity Voice passcode (a 4-digit PIN). If your Xfinity voicemail is empty, then this is more than likely related to the actual phone. There may be a voicemail feature on the phone, or maybe a notification etc. If by any chance you have your phone manual, I'd recommend checking for more information.

Nothing works: I cannot turn voicemail indicator light on from the website: it gives an error message, and says to call tech support.  Tech support cannot fix it.  Other people have this problem: what has worked?

user_6mv8pn Thank you for letting us know your message indicator is giving you issues with your home phone services. That would be a pain to have to check to make sure there are no new messages since it is always on. The Xfinity assistant is a great option to help troubleshoot home phone issues since most are connection-related. If you have already tried our Xfinity assistant, send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account. I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message.
