Verified vs not verified numbers
The "feature" that was recently added that displays incoming numbers that have been "verified" is not well explained. I assume that "verified" indicates that the number displayed has not been spoofed so is ok. If this is the case, why are the not "verified" calls being blocked? At the very least an option should be added that allows a user to automatically block all not "verified" numbers.

Hi thkoenni, I'm happy to address your questions and concerns here. Can you please provide a bit more details of the feature you're speaking of? Are you having issues with your Xfinity Mobile phone or your home phone?

In response to ComcastAmir--I was referring to our home phone. I would like to be able to block all un-verified calls automatically. If they are un-verified, I assume the call is spoofing a number that looks like it is coming from someone in your area, but is from a scammer. I would also like to automatically block all calls that display as "Name not Available". The scammers change numbers so often, that it is not possible to keep up with them when we can only block a maximum of 25 numbers at a time.
Thanks, Tom K

I'm pretty sure poster is referring to the [V] feature. I want to turn that off on my business phone so I don't see [V] all the time. How can I do that?

I answered a (V) number which turned out to be an Amazon scam. I know this because after I hung-up, I called the (V) number [Edited: "Personal Information"] and the operator said that, "this number is not valid". How does this happen?
