Time of Day on Phone

My cordless phone picks up the date and time of day from the phone network.

I've noticed that the time is about 17 minutes behind the correct time.

Is anyone else noticing this?

I'll answer my own question, perhaps to help someone in the future.

My cordless phone uses the Caller ID information to update its clock.

 

I found someone else reported this problem and fixed it by rebooting the Xfinity modem/router.

I'll try that solution.  It makes sense since the timestamps on Xfinity call logs were accurate.
