Text messaging

I just couldn't be the only one who is disappointed with Xfinity discontinuing the texting feature. I used that more than the phone service. This was the only good thing about the phone service. Horrible decision.

I absolutely agree with you. It was one of my favorite features on my landline.

Did you get a call back from Comcast after you filed your complaint? I did. She gave the same pat answer, that customers were not using this feature. Then suggested that I was the only one. I told her that obviously they are not monitoring this forum.

I thought that I read that message would be sent saying that the service was no longer available. Silly me for believing that.

OK.  Fine.  Text messaging is gone.  But, here's the major issue:

 

When someone send a text message to my Xfinity Home Phone, they get no feedback that the text did not go through!!!  Without that feedback, the sender assumes the receipent received the text message, when in fact, we haven't!  If you take away our ability to read the message, at least let the sender know it didn't go through!
