I absolutely agree with you. It was one of my favorite features on my landline.
Good luck with that. They have the politicians in their pocket.
OK. Fine. Text messaging is gone. But, here's the major issue:
When someone send a text message to my Xfinity Home Phone, they get no feedback that the text did not go through!!! Without that feedback, the sender assumes the receipent received the text message, when in fact, we haven't! If you take away our ability to read the message, at least let the sender know it didn't go through!
