Nomorobo

I signed up for Nomorobo without checking with my wife! She does not want the service but I can't figure out how to cancel the service. The instructions to cancel I found seem to not work or I do not understand them. Please help. I just want to cancel nomorobo service.

Have you tried clicking on the "Your Phones" tab after logging on to the Nomorobo web site (nomorobo.com)?

 

On that page there's a box labeled "Disable" on the line with your phone number.

 

I haven't tried it myself, but it looks like it might be how to disable the service.

The Disable button on the Nomorobo site doesn't work. It requires access to Advanced Call Forwarding, which is greyed out on my account.

Hmm... ok...

Well, if it won't work from the Nomorob side then let's try it from the Comcast side...

Go to the Call Forwarding screen under your Settings menu.

If the Nomorobo number ((202)-813-1600) is listed as one of the numbers then try disabling it there.

 

To get to the Call Forwarding screen:

 

  • Go to www.xfinity.com
  • Click the Voice icon The voice icon a black box with white telephone inside in the upper right

    -Or-
    Click the Menu icon The menu icon and select Voice in the drop-down list.
  • Enter your Xfinity username and password.
  • Click the Settings icon the settings icon in the upper-right corner of the page and click Settings to see the Voice Preferences menu.
  • Select Call Forwarding.
