no dial tone on phone

Hello. Hoping you can help. Phone is charged and plugged in to outlet and modem but I  do not have a dial tone. Can you please help?

You may need to power cycle it.

Unplug Gateway for 30 seconds, Then plug it back in and wait a few minutes for it to restart.

This should solve the problem and provide you with a dial tone.
