Thanks for reaching out to us as a customer who has the voice line service I would not be happy if my phone went straight to voicemail without ringing. This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/change-number-of-rings-before-calls-are-forwarded has great information on how you can change the number of rings before your voicemail answers
Give the steps in the link of trial and let me know that resolves the concerns on the voicemail picking up before it rings
