Incoming calls go directly to VM

Has anyone been able to solve this problem?  We're going on 8 months now with no solution in sight.

Hi @Hadenough99, and thank you for posting to the Xfinity Forum. I wanted to check in to see if this has been resolved yet? If not, can you provide more details? Does this happen on all phone calls or only some phone calls? I'm asking to determine if your issue with calls being routed to voicemail has something to do with the Anonymous Call Rejection Feature with the Xfinity Voice service or the Set-Up of Your Voicemail from Your Home Phone.

We're having the same issue. The phone rights but when I answer the call is dead and it has gone directly to voicemail. I know this because I'm calling from my cell phone to my home phone. We recently got an "updated" modem (white plastic) from Xfinity and all was connected fine. This problem started happening about a week ago. I've checked all of our phone settings on the app from my phone AND my laptop and still no relief.

NO.
`i WANT it to go straight to voicemail, I do not want it to ring.
We have been getting a high volume of spam/scam, the majority of them are spoof.

They are highly disturbing and distracting to us.  But especially when they start in a bit after 8 AM our time, which is before our arousal time.

So... I want a setting to send it straight to voicemail.  We can check voicemail at a time convenient to us.

They generally don't leave a message although the invitation to do so is on our outgoing message.
