How to turn on caller id

After I had changed my payment plan, my caller id has not worked. This happened the last time I had a change and if I recall correctly it had to be done at the main office. The Xfinity Store said it was my box but that wasn’t the case last time. Any suggestions?

Go to the settings icon, go to preferences, then notifications. Make sure the Caller ID is on.

Thanks for the info, Mike, however, I have never had the option of Caller ID in Notifications. The young man in the store even took me to a television to show me how to turn on Caller ID, and he was a bit flummoxed when that option wasn’t on his screen either. Everything that is there on my list is toggled on. That’s always the first place I start when I have issues. The solution was to make the dreaded hour+ long phone call trying to get them to understand what is going on without them saying first to unplug and plug everything back again. This is something that had to be toggled on at the office, not on my box, not in the store but by phone call to Xfinity. It took them hours to figure out what to do, to the point of them restarting my modem numerous times over the hours. I can’t be the only person who has had this problem. Certainly, something in their ‘cook book’ of help pages they have something that would tell them how to solve the issue. 

Bottom line is my Caller ID turned back on.

@schnappsy​ You're not. I upgraded my internet and nothing has been the same since. They basically had to redo all services. Caller ID no longer shows on my landlines phone, which is what I need it for. They said use the Connect App-it no longer exists. 

Voice service is not listed on my Xfinity app. I have to log in, and go to numerous different websites trying to find out who called me! Super frustrating!
